Ouch!

**Warning! Photos below are graphic**

So there is my disclaimer. Do not scroll down if you have a weak stomach. Russia did have her surgery yesterday and lived to tell about it. She had a tough time waking up so I wasn't able to pick her up after work as I had planned. She was very "sensitive" after waking and had to be sedated. When I picked her up she was wobbly and could hardly make it into the car. Mike being the good guy he is, accompanied her outside and made sure she made it down the steps okay. She had a tough time finding a comfortable time to sleep last night so it took her a long time to settle in. Today she seems in high spirits and devoured her supper; a huge surprise since she goes off her food whenever stressed.

We had originally thought her tumor was located in the same mammary tissue that had been somewhat removed during her last surgery. Apparently it had started to affect the tissue in the adjacent gland so her incision is rather large. Add that to her mark from her spay and her previous c-section and she is full of train tracks. Hopefully this is it for her! We had the tumor sent in to be examined so we know what we are dealing with. Approximately 50% of mammary tumors are malignant so it looks like the chances of it being nothing are very good. We are hoping for the best. I attached some pictures of her incisions just for fun.
